Meritorious Service Award

The Meritorious Service Award (MSA) may be conferred upon members of the Rite in this Jurisdiction who have attained the 32° and who by reason of meritorious service of a Masonic character are deemed worthy of such recognition.

Distinguished Service Award

This award seeks to recognize a Scottish Rite member for their contributions at the Valley level for their local volunteer efforts. Organizations including civil, fraternal, schools, boards, community activities and volunteer activities as well as their Masonic affiliations. In addition, Masonic work including their parts in degrees, committees, offices and so forth are to be considered.

Norman R. Buecker Scottish Rite Service Award

This award was established in 2012 and the name was changed in 2015 to recognize Ill. Bro. Norman Buecker, 33°, MSA, Past Grand Master, Past Deputy, and Medal of Honor Recipient for Illinois. This award is to recognize those brethren who have served this Council of Deliberation beyond the call of duty by giving of their time and talent unselfishly on behalf of our Council.

Illinois Eagle Award

The Illinois Eagle award is presented to an Illinois Scottish Rite Mason who signs and/or top lines the most petitions in a 12-month period.

Hauts Grade Academy

Designed to promote the education, knowledge and engagement of Scottish Rite, NMJ members, the challenging Hauts Grades Academy (HGA) curriculum provides members with an opportunity to delve deeper into the study of the Scottish Rite degrees.
